🔥 The Smelting Shock & Tellurium Challenge
The Collector: We smelted the rich Number 1 Concentrates, containing a huge volume of gold, and Tellurides.
The Shock: The final button was massive—a giant 250 gram button of gold and telluride alloy!
The Breakthrough: We faced the stubborn tellurium contamination (the brittle alloy and the frosting). Watch as we use a scientific trick (the Soda Ash Alkaline Flux Wash) to successfully scrub the tellurium out and produce a pure, heavy gold button.
💰 The Final Incredible Grade! After cleaning the spectacular gold button and running the numbers:
Final Weight: We recovered 2.4 Troy Ounces of refined gold!
Ore Grade: That works out to an absolutely astounding 24 Ounces Per Ton! We suspect the Calaverite (gold telluride) in the high-grade silver concentrates was the key to this bonanza grade.
