How to Clone Windows 11/10 to a New SSD/HDD Without Any Software

In this video, I’ll show you how to clone Windows 11 or Windows 10 to a new SSD or HDD without using any third-party software. This is a simple and completely free method that works directly with built-in Windows tools.

Command :

- Create Backup File:

dism /capture-image /imagefile:"path\install.wim" /capturedir:"path" /name:"WinBackup" /compress:max /checkintegrity

eg: dism /capture-image /imagefile:D:\backup.wim /capturedir:C:\ /name:"WinBackup" /compress:max /checkintegrity

- Create EFI Partition :
cre par efi size=512
format fs=fat32 quick label="System Boot"
assign letter S

- Apply backup file :
dism /apply-image /imagefile:backup.wim /index:1 /applydir:W:\
