The DC Universe is set to return in 2026, with several more movies and TV shows on their way from DC Studios. 2025 became a successful year for the DCU's Chapter 1: "Gods and Monsters" slate, as DC Studios brought the Man of Steel back to the big screen while also finally integrating Peacemaker season 2 into the new franchise.

While James Gunn's superhero franchise will be back next year, there has been uncertainty about which project will be out first. As Lanterns had reportedly been delayed, Warner Bros. Discovery's David Zaslav confirmed in a letter to the shareholders that the highly anticipated DCU drama is indeed set to debut in early 2026.
