GTA San Andreas BETA - Alcatraz Island Map (Project Eagle Mod)

GTA San Andreas BETA Map finally comes to life. The lost Alcatraz Island restored in the Project Eagle Mod (GTA America / United States Map).

For years, GTA fans believed that Alcatraz existed in the BETA version of GTA SA, located near the San Fierro Bay — just like the real prison island in San Francisco.
Surprisingly, there is in-game evidence supporting this theory: a BETA map in Mike Toreno’s ranch, Lil' Probe 'Inn, and another BETA map hidden inside Area 69.

In the final 2004 release, the island was removed, leaving only clues behind.
But thanks to the talented 3D artist .Hayabusa, this lost location has been fully mapped, redesigned, and transformed into a playable island.

🏝️ This modded version of Alcatraz includes:
• Detailed prison island layout
• Weapon pickups around the courtyard
• A brand-new side mission Dirty Freedom – a Sanchez checkpoint challenge inspired by the PCJ Playground mission from Vice City
• Authentic 2004 San Andreas artstyle, lighting, LODs, and atmosphere

This is one of the most iconic pieces of GTA SA BETA content, restored with care and accuracy.
