The story begins with the abduction of Panna Barve, daughter of Chief Minister Malti Barve. The group responsible demands the release of one of their members. During her captivity, Panna recalls her difficult childhood with an ambitious mother and a timid father. Her mother was also closely associated with a party member, Sawantrao Gadre. Later, Panna meets Aditya Patel, the person behind her abduction, who was once close to her.
Through a flashback, it is revealed that Panna and Aditya were once deeply in love, sharing a bond over their troubled family lives. They found peace in a humble neighborhood with Adi’s teacher, Joshi Master, and were inspired by the poet Bhau. A tragic accident separates them, as Aditya is presumed gone, and Panna faces another personal loss.
In the present, Panna and Aditya reunite and recall the events that changed their lives. They later learn of Bhau’s condition and Joshi Master’s passing. Filled with grief and a desire for justice, they take bold steps against their parents’ actions. The story ends with Panna’s father leading a school, symbolizing hope for a better, corruption-free generation guided by education and values.
