A Howard County high school staff member has been charged with third-degree sexual offense involving a student, police said. Howard County police allege that Guilford Park High School special education paraeducator William Nelson, 26, of Elkridge, met a 15-year-old boy through a dating app. Police allege the two had sexual intercourse in a vehicle off school grounds on Wednesday. A judge said Nelson is a danger and ordered him held without bail. On his intake form, Nelson said he was unemployed.
