►How do you make it clear its fan trailer not official?
Most fan trailers don’t have good reputation because they aren’t clearly labeled. At MacamTV, we set a good example by marking ours as fan made in the title and beginning/end of the video, while avoiding studio logos so viewers know they’re unofficial. The goal is to restore the true spirit of fan trailers, as fun, creative showcases of dream movies.
►How are dream trailers created?
I first become a fan of the franchise, then get knowledge about franchise news, fan theories and updates about the dream movie. Then research “fresh” clips of the actors and anything to tell the story in the dream trailer using effects, music, AI, and editing software like Wondershare Filmora, Photopea, and more.

Editing Details:
For this Creed IV fan-made trailer, I wanted to continue the story that fans have been asking for — Adonis Creed versus Robert Balboa. The heart of this trailer is Adonis honoring Rocky Balboa’s legacy by giving his son a shot at the title. I started the edit with an emotional tone, showing the characters grieving the loss of Rocky through Adonis’s perspective. This sets the mood and connects the audience emotionally before diving into the main storyline. The pacing in the beginning is slower, using reflective music and dialogue to show how much Rocky meant to Adonis.
The second half of the trailer builds tension and purpose. I edited in scenes that show Robert Balboa challenging Adonis for the title, while Creed initially refuses, unsure if it’s the right thing to do. The turning point comes when Robert reminds him of the iconic moment when Apollo Creed gave Rocky a chance — transforming what began as a challenge into an underdog story for a new generation. From there, the trailer transitions into high-energy training montages and fight clips, symbolizing the passing of the torch and the continuation of the Balboa-Creed legacy.
