Raja (Akshay Kumar) lives with his astrologer uncle (Satish Kaushik), who predicts that Raja’s future will soon be bright, so he decides to wait for destiny to favor him. One day, at a bus stop, he meets a woman but speaks to her rudely, remembering his uncle’s advice not to talk to unmarried women. Later, realizing she is married, he apologizes, but her husband misunderstands and argues with him. In the confusion, Raja gets hit by the car of Shalu (Juhi Chawla), the daughter of a wealthy man (Kader Khan), and is hospitalized.
Shalu is taken into custody, but Raja’s uncle requests her release and asks Raja to forgive her. Grateful, Shalu visits Raja and gradually falls in love with him. She tells her father that Raja is the man she wants to marry. However, her father disapproves of Raja’s carefree lifestyle and challenges him to earn ₹100,000 through honest work to prove his worth. Raja accepts the challenge and ultimately achieves it by winning a wrestling competition against Kaalu Pehelwan (Emmanuel Yarborough), earning everyone’s respect.
