A water main broke Wednesday in Hunt Valley, prompting some lane closures. According to the Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation, crews have responded to a water main break on Shawan Road at Hyland Avenue, near York Road and across from McCormick & Co. A WBAL-TV 11 News crew observed Shawan Road remained open with some lane closures. The Baltimore City Department of Public Works, which manages the water system, has been notified.
