Maryland Gov. Wes Moore doubled down on his effort to redraw the state's congressional district maps next year. The governor announced Tuesday that he's assembling a bipartisan advisory commission that follows a model used by former Gov. Martin O'Malley. The panel will solicit public feedback before making recommendations to the governor and General Assembly on how to redraw congressional district lines. Time is not on the governor's side: Redistricting must be completed before February. Time could especially pose an issue when it comes to the primary election.
