Padonia school dedicated in honor of Debbie Phelps

The Padonia Learning Center in Cockeysville has a new name in dedicated of educator Debbie Phelps. Phelps may be best known as the mother of Olympian Michael Phelps, but for decades, she served as an educator in Harford and Baltimore counties. She said she's honored by the gesture. The Debbie Phelps Legacy School isn't the only piece of Phelps family history at Padonia. In June the school named a competition pool in the family's honor.
