Finally, it is out. This is the big awaited video. I didn't want to rush it out or release it in parts since I believe the experience is best enjoyed in one run. I am beyond proud of how this project ended up going and I hope you are too. Winx Club has been a huge part of my identity and I don't think I will ever be able to let it go properly. It shaped me as a kid and I remember watching this show every time I felt depressed or anxious. I did my absolute best to not sound biased at all in the video (took me multiple rewrites of the script and rerecords of my lines) but regarding the final section... off, thats rough.
This video is NOT meant to undermine the people who DID work on the reboot, but it is meant to call out the quality of a media that got underdelivered and a direct criticism to the creator of the show. I am beyond disappointed to see such a man run my childhood cartoon and I hope a reality check is in place for him.
With that being said, I will not make videos on the Winx Reboot on this channel anymore; if you look at my normal video style and length, this video is a mixture of 4 regular videos meshed into one. I think that warrants enough attention to the Reboot at least on my end and I am glad to have played a part in talking about Winx Club: The Magic is (NOT) Back. Should I make future videos about Winx, they will be more lighthearted and will be about other aspects of the franchise that I have been more etched on as a kid. To give a hint: Sirenix Power.
