You could tell he knew it was wrong by the way he just immediately blew the place up!
Last stream, we picked it up at the docks in an attempt to locate Wyll's father! We met a couple of fishermen that were complaining of a weird oil spill that's been killing all the fish in the harbor. They also said they noticed some strange waves, as if something giant was moving underneath the surface. Apparently it was coming from underneath the cargo building!
We then went to explore a quarantined ship that had a couple of bodies on board. The second we set foot onto the ship, we too were struck with a strange disease! We continued to explore the ship, and as we opened up a chest, a fierce beast pooped out and attacked us! We killed it and the disease instantly went away, that beast must've been cursing or plaguing the ship somehow!
Then we noticed Volo the artist in the city streets! He was tied up to a chair next to many explosive barrels! He had been captured by the absolute cultists, and they were about to execute him, but lucky for him we showed up just in time to take the cultists out and save him! He returned to our camp!
The next place we discovered was the Water Queen's House! We were greeted by a ton of scaled baddies who inform me that they are holding a funeral ceremony. We made our way to the leader of the group who explains how this young lady had died. They basically tell me the same story as the fishermen, except they believe that there is a beast in the sea being controlled by someone! They ask me to take out the master, we say yes and head out to investigate!
Our best lead was the cargo building, and when we arrived there, we were greeted by a handful of beasts! We took them out and explored the warehouse where we found a hatch to the basement that was hidden by some boxes. This was an entrance to the waterways of the city, and down there was a dude pacing around a massive submarine! We trick him into thinking that Gortash sent me to do some inspections, and the guy tells me that the submarine is used to reach a super secret underwater prison called the Iron Throne! Gortash keeps Gondian prisoners here as collateral to force other Gondians to work the steel forge! We convince the guy to take us to the prison!
On the way there, Gortash video calls us in the sub! He knows exactly what we're doing and threatens that if we set foot inside of the Iron throne, he will immediately blow it up killing all the prisoners. We defy him and dock anyways as the prison begins to crumble! We need to find Wyll's dad and try to save as many prisoners as we can, but monsters keep popping up from the muck, and we don't really know the layout of this place! We find the archduke pretty quickly and were able to free every prisoner except one! On our first go too!
We barely escaped death as the whole place exploded, and when we return to the surface, the fish ladies were waiting to take out the dude that took us there! I tried to convince them to take it easy, but they weren't having it. I told them they couldn't execute the dude and they attacked me! Luckily for them, I simped hard and only knock them out!
We return to camp to speak with Wyll's father who is incredibly distraught over the whole situation as well as what happened to Wyll, but after some talking we calm him down and he ends up being proud of Wyll! Wyll's father tells us about an ancient Wyrm that's under the city who could help us in the battle against the elder brain, but the Wyrm was Ansur, and we've already taken him out! Volo also gives us a book that supposedly help us in our battle with Orin!
Gonna look for Orpheus's hammer today!
