Dog flu pauses intakes at Maryland SPCA

The Maryland SPCA paused all dog intakes that will last for at least a month after a dog in its care tested positive for canine influenza H3N2. MDSPCA said it learned Tuesday of the positive test results. Adoptions and fostering of dogs and cats will continue for animals currently in MDSPCA's care. During this time period, dog adoptions will be free, the agency said.
