Residents react to Monday's earthquake in Columbia

The Maryland Geological Survey confirmed a 2.5 magnitude earthquake hit Howard County on Monday shortly after 5:15 p.m. Around 1,000 people registered online that they felt the earthquake, according to the Maryland Geological Survey. Seismometers picked up the quake, with activity happening five miles below the Earth's surface, as far away as Frederick County.
