A 2.5-magnitude earthquake rattled parts of Howard County on Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The USGS said the earthquake was centered east of Riverside and was felt in the Columbia and Savage areas. County police and fire officials are aware of the situation and are surveying for any potential damage. A police spokesman told WBAL-TV 11 News that there have been no reports of injuries as of 5:50 p.m.
