I'll show you how to easily roast a halved fresh pie pumpkin to create your own sweet, flavorful pumpkin puree. I'll use this puree in to bake the best pumpkin pie!

INGREDIENTS
1/2 of a roasted pie pumpkin
12 oz can evaporated milk
1 packed cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1- 9-inch frozen pie shell
*Bake in a preheated oven at 425 °F for 15 minutes then lower oven temp to 350°F and continue baking for 40 to 45 minutes more*
