Residents dealing with strange, gray substance on cars, windows, water

A strange gray substance has been covering water, swing sets, windows, siding and cars in Anne Arundel County for at least the last two weeks. Residents have made complaints to environmental officials about the substance, and now they want to know what it is, where it's coming from and what health hazards it poses. Residents will wash their cars and scrape the substance off just to wake up the next day to find everything covered again.
