A mother is mourning her son who was shot on her birthday in a double-shooting that also left her expectant daughter injured. City police said officers were called around 10:27 p.m. Monday to the 1000 block of Cameron Road in Northeast Baltimore, across from the former Chinquapin Middle School grounds, where shattered glass remains at the scene of the shooting. WBAL-TV 11 News has learned that Stephen Phillips, 35, and his 31-year-old sister were shot after someone fired into their car.
