Well, well, well. How did this happen? How did a die hard goth, a darkwaver, a metalhead and new waver happen to do a remix of Taylor Swift! Well, my daughter wanted to play some music in the car on the way to school and on came Taylor Swift's new album. When my daughter played "The Fate of Ophelia" I immediately realised what a fantastic pop song it was and envisaged the possibility of a synth pop version with a euro dance vibe (think of Alphaville/A-Ha) That's it. It's as simple as that. So, while working on a remix of "Black Sabbath" by Black Sabbath (it's coming on great guns), I decided to have a go at "The Fate of Ophelia".
I will make no money from this video/remix. Why have I done it? Because I enjoy understanding great pop/rock songs and this one was worth doing. This video will be blocked in some countries - Belarus and Russia - no synth pop version for them then...

Taylor Swift, thanks for this magic moment - "The Fate of Ophelia" is an incredible song. Whether people like this remix, only time will tell.
