This the terrifying moment an out-of-control helicopter crashes in front of stunned beachgoers in Southern California, before horrified onlookers rush to save a child CRUSHED by the aircraft.
Two other pedestrians were hospitalised, along with the two people in the helicopter.
The pilot, Eric Nixon, and the only passenger, escaped with broken ribs and minor injuries.
The boy suffered a brain bleed and collapsed lungs according to reports. The injuries to the other two witnesses are unclear.
