Witnesses say police should have done more before fatal shooting

A man is dead after a barricade ended with a police shooting in Dundalk early Thursday, according to Baltimore County police. The Attorney General's Office said officers were called around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday for reports of shots fired. After they arrived, officers realized the man was armed. Officers shot the man, who was standing in a window on the second floor of the residence. Officers established a barricade around the home, and entered the residence around two hours later. They found the man on the first floor of the residence suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, according to a news release.
