Police: Man dies after barricade in Dundalk ends with police shooting

Baltimore County police have confirmed that a man has died after a barricade situation ended in a police shooting. According to police, around 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired at the 2100 block of Larkhall road. Once there, they saw a suspect in the window of the location. During the incident officers responded to the actions of the armed man, and shot him. The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene while no officers or residents were injured. Six total officers fired their weapons and all of them had body-worn cameras. A gun was located at the scene of the incident. The Independent Investigations Division with the Office of the Attorney General is investigating this matter and the officers involved have been placed on administrative leave.
