WHAT A LINE!!!

This sequel shares the name, the characters, and format we know and love from Max Payne 1, but something felt off for me... maybe I just missed Sam Lake's face? I did appreciate seeing our protagonist learn to feel alive again through his desire and connection with Mona Sax. While there was certainly a toxicity there, it taught him there was life after loss. He had his revenge, but then what? Which is why I can't really imagine how the third entry in the series continues his character growth since he finally appears to accept the reality of his losses and seems to feel at peace. Personally I would've been okay to end his story here, but I am happy to be proven wrong when we finally experience the third title later in the future! Thanks for watching and recommending the sequel 💛
