The upcoming Food Lion Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Basketball Tournament's theme is "Come Back to Baltimore!" The nation's oldest historically Black athletic conference first announced its move to Baltimore in 2019. The city hosted the tournaments virtually in 2021 and in person starting in 2022. The conference last renewed its commitment to the city through the 2025 season. After an extensive host city bid selection process, the conference's board announced the continued partnership with Baltimore through 2029.
