The pair went to Virginia Beach, and Derek didn't feel good after coming home. He went to the hospital, and doctors discovered he had come in contact with Vibrio. He died 13 days later. Now Joyce wants people to know how common Vibrio is. "If you have a weakened immune system, stay clear of the water," she told Inside Edition Digital's Andrea Swindall.
