The story begins on a day of pouring rain, when he found a soaking wet and ignored little kitten at an elevator entrance. However, this rescue was anything but smooth. The kitten's health was extremely unstable; he relapsed repeatedly and at one point, even went into shock and was critically ill. When the vet advised him to give up, citing a very low chance of survival, he faced a dual test of his emotions and finances.
But he didn't give up. The most touching part of the story is undoubtedly his resolute decision to persevere. He not only took on the high medical costs but even built an oxygen box for the kitten with his own hands, watching over him day and night. He named the kitten "Xingxing" (Stars), pinning all his hopes on him.
Thanks to his relentless efforts, "Xingxing" fought back from the brink of death time and again and finally made a miraculous recovery.
