Far Cry 2 (Difficulty: Infamous)

Far Cry 2 is an open world first person shooter. It is the sequel to the original Far Cry, a game produced by developer Crytek. The developer of the original Far Cry, was not involved in its development at all as it no longer owns the Far Cry franchise.

The game takes place in an unnamed war-torn African country. The player assumes the role of a mercenary who is sent to the country to assassinate a notorious arms dealer known as the Jackal. When the mercenary contracts severe malaria and botches the assassination, he is forced into working for the warring factions, all-the-while battling his disease malaria and going on a quest to track the Jackal down.

My own conclusions:
- I started playing Far Cry 2 by an accident while looking for the original Far Cry game. I gave it a chance and I enjoyed the game quite a lot.
- This was the first time I played FC2 on Infamous difficulty. Some people say Infamous is a hell to make it through. I have to admit it was VERY difficult, yet I was able to complete the game much faster than the original Far Cry on Realistic difficulty.
- Jack Carver from the original Far Cry game is the Jackal. Confirmed by Ubisoft. This was an interesting reveal for me as it has been a speculation since the FC2 release.
