"Bohbot Kids Network Logo/Ident History" compiled by TR3X Productions, 07/02/25; uploaded on 10/02/2025.
This video will cover the on-screen logos of Bohbot Entertainment (1985-97), BKN (Bohbot Kids Network; 1997-2001). BKN International (1999-2010) and 41 Entertainment (2010-present), all of said companies were founded by Allen Bohbot. Also featured in this compilation are the idents from Amazin' Adventures (1992-97), a syndicated children's programming block operated by Bohbot Entertainment that preceded BKN, and Bulldog TV (1999-2000), which succeeded BKN's main syndicated service and was named after the bulldog that was featured in the "BKN will be right back" and "Now back to BKN" bumpers; they can be seen here https://youtu.be/TAIzyRy8yrM . BKN Kids II, another syndicated children's programming block, appears in the video too, which launched on the exact day that BKN rebranded their main syndicated service as Bulldog TV on 29th August 1999. They aired animated series from the Bohbot and DiC catalogues, two examples being the 'Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog' and 'Inspector Gadget', and the blocks were affiliated with networks such as Paramount Stations Group, Sinclair Broadcast Group and more. The turn of the third millennium saw the closure of BKN's two syndicated blocks in October 2000, and three months later, BKN International AG acquired BKN, Inc.'s operating assets. BKN International's second and last logo (2001-10) appeared on shows like 'Legend of the Dragon', 'Zorro: Generation Z' and 'Dork Hunters from Outer Space' and also appeared on international prints of 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys', which I remember watching on DVD as a toddler; that was my introduction to BKN, GoodTimes and Golden Books. A brief home-media subsidiary of BKN International existed in the UK from 2006-07, featuring a print of the 2001 BKN logo that was seen in the intro of 'Scruff: Craving for Eggs'. The last movie by BKN International was 'Dork Hunters and the Pirates of Tortuga Island', released in the same year when Allen Bohbot founded 41 Entertainment in 2010, and this brought an end to the BKN name. 41 Entertainment, like its predecessors, concentrates on producing and distributing animation shows, some examples of which include 'Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures', 'Super Monsters' and 'Supernatural Academy'. In 2018, the BKN name was revived in BKN Entertainment, a subsidiary of 41E that controlled the programmes and assets of Bohbot's former animation companies; their logo plastered the old Bohbot Entertainment and BKN logos up until 2022, which was succeeded by the Amazin' Adventures YT channel in January 2023, and the latest 41E logo currently plasters the old Bohbot logos.
