The man charged in connection with the stabbing death of his fiancée was denied bail on Monday in Howard County. Rondale Dickerson, 34, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Shelaya Broadwater, 44, police said. Broadwater was found dead inside her Ellicott City apartment on Thursday. Dickerson appeared calm and answered all of the judge's questions on Monday despite police saying he was acting erratically at the time of his arrest.
