Some people may remember the Superblock as Baltimore's "Five-and-Dime District," the part of downtown near North Howard and West Fayette streets that used to be bustling with businesses. But for decades, the buildings have been vacant and a recent five-alarm fire seemed to be the death knell for the Superblock. That may not be the case though as the Baltimore Development Corp. told 11 News reporter Tommie Clark that it's ready to make real change.
