A Maryland State Police helicopter rescued an injured hiker in Washington County on Saturday. State police said the Frederick-based crew of Trooper 3 was called around 1:33 p.m. to the Maryland Heights Overlook cliff to assist a hiker who was experiencing an apparent medical emergency.
