The saga of Eric Draven came to the cinema in 1996 with 'The Crow'. It was followed by a sequel ('City of Angels') with Draven resurrected but it wasn't well received. Later two more theatrical sequels failed spectacularly and were quickly dumped onto video. In the middle of the four movies came 'The Crow: Stairway to Heaven', the 1998 tv series with Mark Decascos as Draven, resurrected to 'set wrong things right'. The one season show ended on a cliffhanger; there was some talk from Bryce Zabel about a tv movie or miniseries to wrap it up, but it never came to be.
