Join me as I watch episodes 7 & 8 of the new Winx Club reboot series. Episode 7 Summary: In light of the troubles that occured in the forest, headmistress Griffin temporarily seals away the Trix's magic. With the Trix powerless, Vexius decides to take matter into his own hands and has Damien lure Bloom into the animal stables where Vexius casts a spell on Bloom and turns her over to the darkside. Meanwhile Aisha's parents are visiting her at Alfea and bring up their negative feelings about dancing. The Winx girls take Dark Bloom head on but she is just too powerful. Daphne calls out to Bloom just in a knick of time to stop her from attacking. With the help of headmistresses Griffin and Faragonda, the Winx are able to break Bloom free out of her dark trance. The episode ends with Robin showing headmistress Faragonda a recording of Dark Bloom's rampage and it captures Bloom's true power- the Dragon Flame.
Episode 8 Summary: The Winx girls help Musa put on a grand concert. Musa is nervous and wants to do well on stage because a agent at a record company had supposedly reach out to her. Durring the stage setup, Musa and Bloom notices Riven acting avoidant and decides to follow after him to see what he is up to. The girls end up in a music store where they find out that actually, Riven is pretty good with the guitar and had been secretly practicing without telling anyone. As Musa and Bloom leave the store the Trix arrive and decide to attack. Just when Riven leaves the store, he notices the commotion and steps in to save both Bloom and Musa. That evening, Musa is hit with stage fright and just when the girls weren't sure what to do, Riven glides in on stage with his guitar in hand giving Musa the re-assurance she needed to perform. Durring the performance, Bloom briefly steps away backstage and Vexius attempts to steal her Dragon Flame. After his failed attempt, Bloom is joined by the other girls and specialists. Vexius takes out the specialists easily and continues to overwhelm the others with his powers. Headmistresses Griffin and Faragonda arrive on the scene after sensing immense dark magic, but Vexius teleports and he escapes.
