On October 11, 1973, Charles Hickson (42) and Calvin Parker (19) were fishing along the Pascagoula River in Mississippi when they claimed to observe two flashing blue lights and a whirring object hovering above them. According to their account, three humanoid beings with crab-like pincers emerged, paralyzed them, and took them aboard a UFO for an examination before releasing them back at the riverbank. Hickson later described being scanned by a giant “eye” while inside the craft.

Despite initial police skepticism and accusations of intoxication, both men underwent consistent interviews, passed lie detector tests, and maintained their story even under secret recording conditions. The incident drew national media attention and remains one of the most famous and unsettling alleged alien abduction cases.
