A cloudy start for much of England and Wales, with brighter spells for southern and western fringes and much of Scotland, and cloud breaking across Northern Ireland. The cloud producing the odd spot of light rain or drizzle across central and southern areas of England and Wales, but tending to break up through the day with most places seeing some sunshine.
