Movie Plot:
The film follows Mohan and Asha, who fall in love and secretly marry in a temple against Mohan’s parents’ wishes. Soon after, Mohan leaves town for work, and upon his return, his parents falsely tell him that Asha has died. Heartbroken, Mohan moves on and marries Seema, with whom he has two children.
Years later, Asha, now a district collector, becomes Mohan’s boss. She secretly helps Mohan and his family while ensuring that the truth about their past remains hidden. However, rumors begin to spread about Mohan and Asha’s relationship, leading to Seema discovering the truth.
Devastated, Seema attempts to end her life, but Asha saves her—losing her own life in the process. In a final act of love, Asha donates her eyes to Seema, who had lost her vision in an accident. The film ends with Mohan, Seema, their children, and their families paying homage to Asha.
Sanjog is a remake of the Tamil film "Iru Kodugal" (1969) and explores themes of love, sacrifice, and fate.
