Maryland could follow Texas' lead in redistricting

A plane flying a banner that read, "Mess With Texas" circled the Maryland State House on Tuesday as the redistricting fight in Texas could create ramifications in Maryland. The plane's anonymous call to action is a take on the slogan, "Don't Mess With Texas," but is referencing Texas Republicans' attempts to redraw political districts to favor the Republican Party in an effort to flip five Democrat seats in Congress — all at the request of President Donald Trump.
