The orchid growing community is being inundated with orchid care videos. This is a good thing! UNLESS... the videos that are being favored by YouTube's algorithm are those that have fake orchid care suggestions, fake orchid care tips and tricks, fake promises in the titles of the posted videos, many promising unrealistic miracles on how to rescue orchids, get roots to grow miraculously and how to get your orchid to bloom all year round! These are expectations that cannot be met, and should fall under the category of misinformation as per YouTube's Terms of Service. However, none of these videos are taken down, instead, there are more and more of these channels popping up spreading the same misinformation under a different name, based on the views another bogus orchid care video with xyz tip and tricks, garnered. Instead of getting too frustrated about this spamming, and that YouTube does not remove these videos spreading the misinformation, join me as I go through some thumbnails and debunked why xyz won't work, or based on title, what expectation you can have realistically.
