Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, along with state and local leaders, toured the Francis Scott Key Bridge demolition site Wednesday morning. WBAL-TV was on the bridge and got an up-close look at the work being done and reactions of officials who walked the site. Officials stood on the south causeway of the bridge where demolition has been underway for three weeks. Construction crews are working to remove what is left of the bridge deck. Moore said afterward that his focus is to have this project done quickly, safely and responsibly with taxpayer dollars. There was also an update on the progress and what is next in the process.
