Meteorologist Alena Lee says it will continue to be hot and humid Tuesday with a heat index in the triple digits. It will be even hotter on Wednesday as temps will reach the upper 90's with a dangerously high heat index approaching 110 degrees. Thursday will be slightly cooler but will see an increase in humidity before a cool front hits the area and drops temps in to the low 80s for the weekend.
