Meteorologist Ava Marie says it will be an Alert Day Tuesday with partly cloudy skies and very hot with temps reaching the upper 90s. The heat index could reach as high as 105 degrees so use caution outdoors. The extreme heat continues on Wednesday as it could be an even higher heat index around 110 degrees. There could also be an isolated thunderstorms possible in the afternoon or evening
