Meteorologist Ava Marie says it is an Alert Day due to the dangerously high heat levels with a heat index well over 100 degrees. It will be very hot and humid as we will see sunny to partly cloudy skies with temps in the upper 90s. There are isolated thunderstorms possible in the afternoon and evening.
