Family to sue Baltimore City after death of DPW worker

The family of a Baltimore City Department of Public Works employee who died on the job intends to file a civil rights lawsuit. Ronald Silver II died almost a year ago from a heat-related illness while on the job. His family alleges DPW violated his civil rights and the civil rights of other employees. The family accused DPW of assigning workers who complain about working conditions to harsher routes, saying some of these actions violate the 13th Amendment, which prohibits slavery.
