Baltimore police are investigating another overdose scare at Penn North. They confirm five people were taken to hospitals Friday, two are in serious condition. Police are canvassing the area as part of an ongoing investigation. The sidewalk had been lined with outreach tents providing information on where to find a variety of services, and the effort is well-received. More than a week after a mass overdose at Penn North, police responded to five overdoses in the same area. They were already there for a massive outreach effort and community walk. Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley was one of the many officials who provided an update on Friday. "Several of our officers issued Narcan to individuals who were experiencing an overdose. We also had numerous officers working in the area, that have been working in area attempting to locate who the buyers were the sellers were and mainly to find out who is bringing the drugs into the area," Worley said.
