On Friday, a bail review was held in Baltimore County for 39-year-old Jeffrey Davis who is faces charges including attempted first-degree murder in connection with shooting in Cockeysville. It happened July 12, at an apartment complex where Davis is accused of shooting a man multiple times. WBAL-TV was at the bail hearing when several new details were revealed in court. According to court documents this was not a random incident and the suspect and alleged victim not only know each other, they are relatives. The mother of the suspect, who did not want to share her name, said she would support her son. "I'm going to fight for him, you know, because I'm giving all the support he needs," the mother of Davis said. Shortly after Davis was called a danger to the community and denied bail by a district court judge. He is facing charges for attempted murder after allegedly shooting a man at an apartment complex in Cockeysville. His mother emerged from the courthouse in Towson and spoke to 11 News. "I have mixed emotions," Davis's mother said. "Because it's like a family crisis. You know, he's not a monster. He's never been in trouble throughout his teenage life and his adult life. And I just think when it comes to certain things, that it should be handled in a certain way." 11 News confirmed Davis, and the alleged victim are relatives who both lived in the same apartment complex.
