Gov. Wes Moore focuses on justice, sustainability during his visit to Baltimore

It was a busy public schedule for Maryland Gov. Wes Moore on Thursday as he made his way from Baltimore before ending in Annapolis to talk taxes. One of his stops in Baltimore was an event at "Living Classrooms," where he focused on environmental justice and sustainability. WBAL-TV has more on the message the governor It was a jam-packed public schedule for Gov. Moore with a focus on justice throughout. On the T.J. Smith show on WBAL News Radio he discussed criminal and juvenile justice as well as his new hire to take over the troubled Department of Juvenile Services. "We know there's still a lot more to do, and we have to move with urgency to be able to get it done. So, I'm encouraged by what we're already seeing from our new secretary and I'm eager to keep working closely with her," Moore said. The governor also touted a drop in violent crime in Baltimore City and drew a direct connection to Maryland's historically low unemployment numbers. He then visited the Inner Harbor to headline an hours long event at Living Classrooms focused on environmental justice.
