Servicemen of Ukraine’s mobile air defence unit said that Russia was now launching swarms of drones and it has become harder to shoot them down.
‘I see the advantage of using interceptor drones. We should start using high-speed interceptor drones and take down drones with drones,’ a soldier who uses call-sign ‘Romeo’ told Reuters after firing rounds from antiaircraft gun.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has in recent weeks stressed the importance of developing drone interceptors as a rational way of tackling swarms of drones.
