The aviation industry is evolving. A group of 50 Baltimore City students are getting a first-hand understanding of the careers in this field. It's part of BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport's summer youth program. Over the course of the week, the students will meet with airline employees, business and security leaders. "When we think about the future of aviation, our industry is changing every day," says Shannetta Griffin, the executive director and CEO of Thurgood Marshall Airport. "We're going to have new types of aircraft, new types of things happening in our airspace. And so, educating these young people on what that could be, what are opportunities for them — that's what's most important." This is the program's ninth annual year.
