Baltimore police are looking for whoever killed a man in his northeast Baltimore home. On Saturday, officers responded to the home on Chesterfield Avenue for a wellbeing check and that's when they found the man's body. WBAL-TV learned the victim's parents were in Baltimore yesterday from out of the state and spoke with the victim's brother who said he was a retired teacher who was always lending a helping hand. A wellness check turned into a murder investigation as Baltimore police are trying to find who killed 60-year-old Keith Garrett. "He was caring, generous to a fault I should say," the victim's brother Tommy Garrett, said. Police said they got a call on Saturday from a relative requesting officers to go check on Keith Garrett at his Chesterfield Avenue home. It's located not far from Lake Montebello in northeast Baltimore. Police said when they arrived, they found Garrett unresponsive. He was pronounced dead as the medical examiner determined he died from blunt force trauma to the body.
